I am going to save this post away. I have told customers this very same
thing and yet they still ask me if multiple-radio support is possible. Sure
it is possible. Tell me why you want a ‘user’ to try and sort that out?
What a nightmare for pairing (link key management). The idea of turning a
Windows system into the worlds most expensive Bluetooth Network Access Point
always seemed a bit the wrong direction.
Perhaps the OP has another application in mind that requires being ‘between’
two BT piconets. My suggestion would be to look at other Bluetooth stacks
that can run on Windows to provide the ‘other radio’ or multiple radio
support. Alternatively, the OP can take over the radio entirely since
whatever they are doing is likely to raise hell with Windows trying to use
the radio as well unless all they need is an L2CAP or RFCOMM channel to the
‘remote’ device…

The Bluetooth stack provides a way to enumerate multiple *remote* radio’s
services. The Microsoft stack only supports one local radio (I have never
seen a viable user scenario where having multiple local radios made any kind
of sense)

Hi everyone.
Does anyone of you could ligth me about the support of multiple bluetooth
radios under windows XP/Vista.
From The bluetooth documentation i saw microsoft provide a ways to
enumerate the radios presents on board.
But if we plug more then one key. the second key get in conflict.

I have a hardtime from porting my application from Linux to windows where it
was so simple to use any number of bluetooth device… If you could point me
