Are they known to have problems working with xp sp2? They all compile fine
but not a single one will run. I used a right click install on the inf files
for all the examples and all thier user land links error out with unable to
connect.
Sorry if this is an inappropriate question for this list but it seemed like
a better solution to work with minifilters rather then doing all the base
work from scratch.
Thanx
Did you start the drivers before running the user mode code? (net
start MiniFilterName)

The scanner sample works fine on my XP SP2 virtual machine system. Slightly
off topic - but debugging FSFDs on a VM using windbg just rocks.
See the other post on this subject. The default service settings are demand
start so you have to net start the driver. The docs are a bit rudimentary -
you have to fumble around with the sparse info in the wdk and cross
reference that with the various ppt slides and white papers on whdc, but
with a bit of interpolation it all seems to work.
