Hi
I have written a FS mini filter which is supposed to monitor
activities of a Web Share everything is going fine I am able to see
what user is doing on web share.
But I am not able to capture very first request for web share.
e.g. if I am trying to access \localhost\test
my driver is not able to capture this request very first time .
On iis I am getting profind request from “Microsoft-WebDAV-MiniRedir/
5.1.2600” component .
Even if I put my filter driver on top most altitude , still I am not
able to capture first request !
can you please help me out how to capture the first request ?
thanks
Rajender saini
Why no body is replying this mail ?
are people not able to understand my question ?
How are you starting your driver? If you start your filter such that it is
present before WebDav mounts you should see all requests. YOU SHOULD NOT
BE MESSING WITH ALTITUDE, that is Microsofts assignment, and will not
matter.
