I have a memory dump that is occurring in an OS driver. Is it possible to
see if the BSOD has a entry in the Online Crash Analyses database (OCA)?
For example I have a BSOD with Symantec SYMEVENT.SYS and want to see if they
have a fix for it. I can do !analyze but it doesn’t appear to tell me the
fix link. This would be handy to tell if this is a bug I should try and
investigate or just document.
Thanks,
Rob
The only way to do this today is through a product called CER (Corporate
Error Reporting). http://www.microsoft.com/resources/satech/cer/ has
more information.

I didn’t find a way to install the CER 2.0, I visited this URL -
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/satech/cer/InstallationMNU.asp, but no
link for install was found…any idea?

The site seems clear on the criteria for obtaining CER:
Obtaining Corporate Error Reporting 2.0
CER 2.0 is available starting July 1, 2003 on the Microsoft Volume
Licensing Site (MVLS) for eligible Software Assurance customers.
The URL for the licensing site is: http://licensing.microsoft.com
