Hello all,
I have been experimenting with the MS Ramdisk sample for W2K and noticed
following IOCTL’s :
IOCTL value = 0x004D0008 ( Device = 0x4D , Function = 0x02 ,
FILE_ANY_ACCESS, METHOD_BUFFERED )
IOCTL value = 0x0066001B ( Device = 0x66 , Function = 0x06 ,
FILE_ANY_ACCESS, METHOD_NEITHER )
The 4D0008 seems to occur every few seconds when the “Computer
Management/Storage/Logical Drives” window has the focus active.
The 66001B occurs when one tries to format the RAM drive.
Does anyone know where to get the meaning of these IOCTL calls ?
