Hello there,
has anybody tried sorting NTdev messages by thread? AFAIK this is done
by all decent mail clients using “Message-ID” and “In-Reply-To”
fields. The issue here is that “In-Reply-To” seems to be stripped by
lyris software.
So, the real questions are:
– does lyris keep “Message-ID” contents for the messages it forwards?
– can it be configured to keep “In-Reply-To” as well?
– who has the access to the server configuration?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Oleg…
I get full header info, and (in Netscape anyway) can view the mail
fully threaded. AFAIK Lyris cant be configured to strip header info
from some users and not others, so I assume that Lyris isnt doing
the stripping you’re seeing but rather something on your end. Ive
been playing with threading the archives as well, since all the ID’s
and threads are intact since the inception of the list (8 years).
So your answer would be:
