That may be my spam filter. Your domain name has been identified by at
least one spam service as a spammer. You may want to ask your IS department
to check on this. I also have set for all the “unprofessional” email
servers (hotmail, yahoo, etc) as suspect. I sometimes don’t catch all the
contributors to this email list, AlphaNT and WindowsCE DEV lists and they
occasionally get bounced as spammers. Sorry for the inconvenience, byt you
may be silently ignored by many others as well.
Greg

My corporate email server doesn’t tack on anything to outgoing email.
It turns out that the bounce was from another member of the list,
whose server was rejecting “spam” which they appear to be defining
as all/most email. Why their server responded to my email address
rather than to xxxxx@lists.osr.com I don’t know.

A copyright notice on messages sent to a public email list or a newsgroup is
completely bogus. Your company should rethink this policy. I believe this
type of thing has been tested in court and found wanting. This form of
discourse is just that, an electronic conversation, and not subject to
copyright laws.

I had a few of my messages bounced by Lyris, it boiled down
to my company’s copyright notice that they were attaching to
every outgoing email - apparently Lyris at OSR was configured
to bounce them. But somehow that was resolved, it hasn’t
happened for a while now.

Sorry about that double post. The first time I sent it to
the list server I got a message back saying that it was
undeliverable and had been rejected by a spam filter. I
reposted the message out of curiosity’s sake and the repost
was rejected too. However, both postings eventually made it
into the list. Weird.
Is anyone else receiving these “Undeliverable” messages when
they post to NTDEV?
