Hello,
How can I set the mode of the LPT port for Compatibility protocol and
then write data out to it without going through the win spooler?
Regards,
James

\.\NONSPOOLED_LPT1

Every time I try open \.\NONSPOOLED_LPT1, I get an invalid file handle.
But if I try just \.\LPT1 then it is OK.
Can I change the protocol mode used, to IEEE 1284 Compatibility mode? Is
so, how do I change the mode of operation for the port?

James
