Sometimes I restart WinDbg to get a new kernel connection. Ctrl+Break in the previous debug session does dot react.
Another issue that I see from time to time is that the results to various commands are printed twice or more. I’ve seen it after attaching to a process.
In both cases, I run 6.11.1.404 x86 or x64.
Have you tried lowering the baud rate to see if that helps?
I’ve also had weird behavior in the past that was fixed by replacing the
cable (I know, I know…The equivalent of, “have you tried turning it off
and on again?” but worth a shot!).
