Link 1181 error

Hi,

I am using buildtdi command as:-
buildtdi checked NT * default
parameters
before this i used:
setenv ddk_path chk WXP

While using buildtdi i am getting error Link 1181 cannot open input file
'‘objchk_wxp_x86\i386\kipintr.obj’

Please tell me the reasona dn how to solve this error

Don’t know what your problem is… Last time I got that a clean build
fixed it. “build -c -C”

Hello Martin,

I used build -c -C command but i am getting the same error
NMAKE : U1073: don’t know how to make
‘objchk_w2K_x86\i386*.sbr’
I dont understand why this error is coming.

Did you run the DDK setenv before this? Buildtdi doesn’t need it, but
the raw build command does. I’m suspicious, because this error shows a
“w2k” build environment, whereas your last one showed a “wxp” build
environment.

What was the “*” supposed to mean on your buildtdi command? I don’t see
that as an option in the Compuware docs. Perhaps you should post your
“sources” file and your buildxxx.log file.
