Does the 9/9/04 Filter Manager “kit” posted on the MS Beta site require WS03
SP1? I have a system that I wish to test our filter on that cannot run SP1.

You should be able to install and run the Srv03 SP1 version of the
filter manager on the initial released version of Srv03. Obviously this
would be for testing purposes only. We had an earlier issue with this
but I believe it has been fixed.
Everything should work fine except each time you load a minifilter a new
frame will be created (this will not happen if you unload a minifilter
and reload the same minifilter).
Please let me know if you have problems.
