Is writing printer drivers .ppd and rendering plug-in for Widows 98 similar to Windows 2000?

Hi All,

Is there concept of printer driver rendering plug-in for Windows 98.
How to catch the data whatever is given for printing and how can be able to
modify/ redirect it (e.g toa file).

Any information is helpful.

Thanks and Regards,
Kedar,

The plug-in model exists only with Unidrv (not the 9x version) and
Pscript which means that you can write a plug-in on W2K, XP and forward.
You could also backport your plug-ins to NT4-SP6 since Unidrv and
Pscript were backported to NT4-SP6. But a plug-in model does not exist
for any of the 9x platforms.
