is there anything tricky about filtering a SAN volume?

…Or will a SAN appear as just a normal local volume from the perspective
of a file system filter (running on the server attached to the san)? I
don’t have access to a SAN, but my assumption is that the fact that the fact
that the underlying media is hosted by a SAN is irrelevent.

nevermind… The problem I was seeing had to do with Dynamic disks. The
SAN was a red herring.
