Hi all,
Please could anyone tell me if the cdaudio filter used in win2k differs from
the one used in windows nt4 when doing it’s detect which devices to attach
to.
My reason for this query is that I reinstalled a filter driver based on
CDaudio.sys I built under nt4 and on loading it detected the drive letter
for the cd rom was m: the next one after the last hd in my PC.
However the CD-ROM has being reassigned to have drive letter z:
Easy cd 4 is installed.
If so is the sources to CDaudio.sys available for downloading or would
somebody zip them up for me.
I know I need the w2k ddk to build it, but this is for last minute revision
for a job interview
