IOCTL_STORAGE_GET_HOTPLUG_INFO do not work in win 2k?

Hi,

Is it true that IOCTL_STORAGE_GET_HOTPLUG_INFO do not work in win 2k but
only in win xp?

Is there a equivalent in win 2k?
I need to use the member DeviceHotplug information in the structure.
is there another way of getting the same information in win 2k?

I need it in my file filter driver.

IOCTL_STORAGE_GET_HOTPLUG_INFO is not on W2k and I do not know if there is
an equivalent function.

I believe this was introduced in Win2k SP4. Service packs prior to SP4 don’t
support this request.

Hi,

I have upgraded my win2k pro to sp 4
but the IOCTL_STORAGE_GET_HOTPLUG_INFO still failed
I called it in MountCompletion and using Vpb->RealDevice

It worked in Win XP Pro.
