IoAssignResources question

Hi,
I have to modify our current driver for a PCI card, but I’m very new in
programming driver…

The change I must make is that our card is not currently listed in the
Resources tab in Windows NT Diagnostics, so I must make it appear in it.

I look at the code and the DDK help and now I have a question…

What function should I use? HalAssignSlotResources or IoAssignResources?

If someone can show me an example of a good DriverEntry, I will appreciate!

I hope you’re speaking on NT4.
On NT4 - HalAssignSlotResources. It calls IoAssignResources internally,
which puts the necessary information to the hardware registry.
WinMSD then reads this registry.
