I am setting up a new PC for driver development.
I have Visual Studio, SDK and DDK.
Does it matter what order I install them in?
Are there any other installation tips to follow?

If you are working with the new DDK’s you do not need Visual Studio or the
SDK. If you are not working with the new DDK, you should be getting the
latest DDK from Micrsoft, since it has the best docs, tools and samples.
You may want Visual Studio for an editing environment, if so get ddkbuild
from either http://www.hollistech.com/ or
http://www.osronline.com/section.cfm?section=27
