Dear All,
I’ve developed a UDF reader on Win 2k. All these days i was
using
the sys file as CDFS.sys just for debugging purpose. Can you
please guide me as how to install a file system driver on
Windows 2k.
Sincerely
Nagaraja

Just re-create the registry entries for CDFS.sys under the services key.
Very simple, you essentially need a key named after your driver, or have
the registry entry telling it the name of your driver binary, you need a
DWORD for Type, ErrorControl and Start. Also specify the Group name of
type REG_SZ. Then as long as you start your driver, either Auto or
manually, when you register your filesystem in the DriverEntry routine,
then everything will work.

Thanks a lot Peter.
I could install my File system driver successfully. I had to
create a symbolic link and use createservice call which creates
the required reg entries.
Sincerely
ML
