Hi all
I wrote Pnp driver for Non pnp device on ISA bus and corresponding .inf
file.
Driver should work on XP.
Device use some range of IO ports which are listed in FactDef and LogConfig
sections of inf file.
I also wrote installation program which use
UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices.
Problem is:
If I install or update driver using Hardware wizard all works fine
however when I use my installator installation finished successfully but
Device Manager reports error 34 i.e. cannot determine resources.
setup.log shares this opinion:
#I163 Device not started: Device has problem: 0x22: CM_PROB_NO_SOFTCONFIG.
DevCon.exe and FastInst sample from Walter Oney's book behaves the same way.
Any suggestions ?
