Inspecting multitouch devices HID descriptors

Hi,

I’m facing a problem with the multitouch device i’m responsible for making the driver to.

There is a small WPF example which works on several multitouch technologies, but it doesn’t work in the one i’m working in.

I’m presenting the device to the system as a multitouch digitizer and the HID descriptor was based on an example present in WinDDK source.

My idea was to find a way of inspecting other devices HID in order to understand what makes them different.

The most strange thing is that all touch features of Windows 7 are working on the device i’m working on, as well as flash touch applications and Qt touch applications.

Does someone has an opinion about this?

Does someone knows how can I inspect other devices HID report?

Thanks,

I think hidview will let you look at all of the descriptors, perhaps only the usb based ones though
