inf2cat error when i want to Get cat file from NDIS IM inf file

hi,all

Ihave a driver use NDIS IM passthru sample, setup using inf file, i want to
sign it
when i use inf2cat ,error.
the error:
INF file (\MyDriver_m.inf) cannot be copied to %windir%\inf.

I aready do such as:
1> signed my nids im driver
2> change my inf setup file MyDriver.inf, MyDriver_m.inf in section
[Version]

[Version]
. . .
CatalogFile=MyCatalogFileX86.cat

MyDriver_m.inf come from microsoft passthru file netsf_m,nothing to change

but the xxx_m.inf file don’t copy to %windir%inf directory,so inf2cat
error, i also know this.
so i add copyfile section in xxx_m.inf the same as xxx.inf
but inf2cat also error :
INF file (\MyDriver_m.inf) cannot be copied to %windir%\inf.

how i can deal with this?

Would appreciate any kind help /tips on this

Thanks,
Berry

It looks like the sample that you are using is very old. Possibly from the
Windows 2000 DDK.

Find a newer DDK. The newer DDK will have fixes to the INF files as well as
improvements to the sample code.

In addition, the newer DDK’s Help File would be better.
