In vista, how can I delete file/folders directly, not put into recycle bin?

Hello Dear!

In XP/2K, if I set the register value ??NukeOnDelete ??, in the
route of
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\BitBuc
ket, as DWORD 1, I will delete files/folds directly not put into ??recycle
bin??. However, in Vista the regitster value does no useness.

It??s a very important set in my software. When I remove to Vista,
it is troubling me. Call for your help! TKS.

Thanks.

Your question does not relate to file systems. Rather, you are asking a
question about the behavior of a very specific application. None of us
are (as far as I know) experts in the use of that application and thus
you do not receive a response.

You would be better served by asking this question of Microsoft directly

  • I suspect even the Microsoft folks that read this list have no
immediate knowledge of this issue than the rest of us.
