Imbedded Windows NT / XP

All :
My CEO has sent me on a fact finding mission and having been one of your
loyal List/s readers and an occasional contributer for several years it
popped right up a a possible good place to ask for Testamonials and or
Curses.

My task is to explore the up and down sides of using Imbedded NT or
Imbedded XP in some of our product line.

This task also includes locating information on the pain of migration
From NT Workstation and From Pharlaps 32 bit Operating system…

I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me your comments and the
names or URLs of any other resources I can use to accomplish this task.

Some may object to the list/s being used to this end and perhaps it is
not.

But this task is definitely Driver related as the Driver porting if
required is my Job.

Feel free to E-mail me directly if you don’t want to clutter up the
list, however the answers I seek very possibly might be of interest to
many others on here.

I deliberately crosposted to the filesystem list to make sure I didnt
miss anybody. (Sorry Peter and all who se this twice)
Thanks

We’ve done some work on Embedded NT. Basically, it’s just like NT V4,
because it IS NT V4. Pretty cool.

Windows Embedded (the XP version) is more flexible than the V4 version,
because you can do more “tailoring” of the level of support you include in
the OS.

That’s most of what I know,
