Hi,
In “Determining the Buffering Method for an I/O Operation”->“Operations That
Can Be IRP-Based or Fast I/O” I read:
"IRP_MJ_READ. Minifilters can set the
FLTFL_OPERATION_REGISTRATION_SKIP_CACHED_IO flag in the
FLT_OPERATION_REGISTRATION structure to avoid receiving fast I/O IRP_MJ_READ
operations.
IRP_MJ_WRITE. Minifilters can set the
FLTFL_OPERATION_REGISTRATION_SKIP_CACHED_IO flag in the
FLT_OPERATION_REGISTRATION structure to avoid receiving fast I/O
IRP_MJ_WRITE operations."
This information is not complete as
FLTFL_OPERATION_REGISTRATION_SKIP_CACHED_IO also applies to IRP-based Cached
I/O reads and writes.
Thanks,
mK
