Not sure why i consistantly recieve disc error#51 in event viewer,the
details are,Event Type :warning Description:Error detected on device
\Device\Harddisk0\d during a paging operation.So i use irp tracker,it
shows:INTERNAL_DEVICE_CONTROL UNKNOWN IO_DEVICE_ERROR,INFO=0X0 NTSTATUS
status=0X0000185(IO_DEVICE_ERROR) PVOID POINTER=0XC0000185 ULONG INFO=0X0
The problem,when returning to desktop from internet,the mouse locks up,
and system for a few seconds,then a click,(hd?)mechanical type,and system
returns to normal operation.Fairly simple system,2 hd,F: used as page
file,
storage,XPSP1 etc,both hds recently replaced,and run 80-90% free space,
NTFS.Not always,but also recieve error 7023,Event:Service Control Mgr
Description: Application Management Entered the stop state.I’ve printed
the errors,irp info.,there’s more info of course,any ideas as to what part
(s) to look at for this,or is the OS to blame.If i guessed,the hp mother
board isnt up to the tasks.Thanks, Andrew Eckrich
