In my opinion “The Windows NT Device driver book” by
Art Baker is good for starting.you can refer DDK as
well.

Check out the Getting Started FAQ at
http://www.osr.com/resources_getstart.shtml.
Of all the driver books in the universe, one of the ones I do NOT recommend
is the one by Baker et al. The Microsoft Press book by Walt Oney is correct
and solid WDM info.
