hyperterm behaviour on windows 98 and 2K

I have a WDM multiport serial card driver whose ports
I am able to see on win 2k hyperterm but not on win 98
hyperterm. I am able to map modems to the ports and
dial using them on 98 hyperterm though.

I want to know if there is a limitation in the com
ports displayed in the 98 hyperterm menu (it always
shows me only 4 com ports)or if there has to be any
kind of registration for 98 hyperterm to see those
ports.
