How to receive access to Windows Sources?

I had access to Windows Sources when worked for my previous firm.
In spite of my new firm is valuable, it has not same subscription from Microsoft.

My goal is pushing management to receive Windows Source Subscription program.

Any advice which appropriate connection address inside Microsoft for receiving access to Windows Sources would be much appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,
MichaelG.

AFAIK you can’t get there from here.
Maybe if you ask OSR or MS via email, they could explain you the why’s.

Hi,

I worked with MS earlier for 3 years, and i am aware MS provide access only for those firms who work with them in contract basis for development purpose and its illegal to use that source code once you have left the firm

Take a look at:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/sharedsource/default.mspx

It’s not the most intuitive website, but assuming that you are a private, for profit company, I
think (guess) that you’re basic options, assuming you qualify, are:

System Integrators - http://www.microsoft.com/resources/sharedsource/si.mspx
Enterprise - http://www.microsoft.com/resources/sharedsource/eslp.mspx
OEM - http://www.microsoft.com/resources/sharedsource/oem.mspx

I believe that the first two largely center around the requirement of having 1, 500 Windows seat
licenses, and the are pretty much reference only licenses - you can look, but you can’t build and
certainly not use. The last allows building, but has very specific requirements.

I’m told that their are options other than those listed on the first page, but I have no idea of how
one secures those.

Good luck,

mm

Cool. Now we need a menu entry “Windows Driver Foundation” there, and
everyone is happy.
