How to install Windbg on a different directory

I would like to test the beta version. But apparently, I could not find a
way to change the folder of installation. It’s grayed out !

You should be able to just copy the install from another machine to any
directory. There isn’t a whole lot that the installer does other than
unpack files and create an easy way to remove them via uninstall.

This can be a pain. Most people install the debugger from the oldest release they want to the newest release; after you install an older release in c:\foo, for instance, you could copy it to c:\bar and then install the next version to c:\foo.
