how to install diskperf?

Hello

This may seem a silly question, but after I installed DiskPerf (DDK sample)
using its INF file, how can I uninstall it?

Elias

Did you read the docs for DiskPerf?

Check DeviceManager and see if you can uninstall it there.

Check Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs to see if you can uninstall it
there.

Do a System Restore to the checkpoint taken before you installed it.

OR

Delete the driver files from System32\drivers, and purge the registry of
the service entries.

Don’t install software until you know how to remove it.

Hello Gary

Thanks for pointers.

Now a more generic question: “how to manually uninstall a PNP filter driver
in a clean/system healthy manner?”

Thanks,
Elias
