How to hide hard/cdrom drives?

How could I prevent the I/O Manager from automatically assigning drive
letters? I mean if I have three hard-disks, I want to combine two of the
non-system disk and expose it under a single drive letter?

Thanks
Bala

Using the Mount Mgr IOCtls, you can tell the mount manager to not create
a drive letter for a particular device. This assumes that the device is
registered with the mount manager.
