Hi All,
This may be old DOS goodies that someone remembers.
How to physical drive number from logical driver letter. Let say I am booting from Bootable CD
and C: is assigned to CD ROM, D: is assigned to hard disk. In general C: is assigned to first
physical hard drive and, physical drive number assigned to it 0x80.
But for above mentined case if I say D: it is same physical drive number 0x80.
So how do I intrepret d: as 0x80 physical driver number ? Which DOS interrupt services is useful ?
Waiting for reply
