How to get a device object to the Mount Manager

I am a volume upper filter driver. I need to call into MountManger (i.e.
IOCTL_MOUNTMGR_NEXT_DRIVE_LETTER). How can I get a deviceObject to Mount
Manager so I an call IoCallDriver()?

Thanks!

\Device\MountPointManager, defined in mountmgr.h

Okay, now my question is … how do I get a Mount Manager deviceobject
knowing it’s device name is \Device\MountPointManager?

Thanks!

IoGetDeviceObjectPointer(), very well documented in the DDK. It’s even used in a few samples.

Good luck!
