I just looked at the Oct 2005 MSDN Library, for a doc error that’s been
present since 2000, at least. And yes, the description of the DataIn flags
in the SCSI_PASS_THROUGH_DIRECT structure is still wrong.
On this particular doc error, I have previously submitted feedback through
the web copy of the library, which used to have a feedback link at the
bottom of most, if not all pages. Since that was at least 6 months ago, if
not more, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to me to expect that something as
trivial as that to correct should be fixed, but it’s not, so I thought I
would submit another feedback, in case someone purged a database or
something.
There is no link to offer feedback anymore, and I don’t know an alternative
reporting mechanism, short of simply bugging the developers. So I ask
here, how would I try to get that fixed if I didn’t know people inside
Microsoft?
