How to determine if a driver is on WinPE or WinXP

Is there a function/interface by which a miniport driver can detect if
it is running under Win XP or Win PE. I plan to have a single driver for
both but need to know this to do some special handling under Win PE.

PE has a key named [HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\minint]
