hi everyone,
i want to control the devices,such as the floppy,net nic,usb storage
etc,and let the people who has authened to have the access of the
devices.but in fat32 system there is no security object,so i can not use
application in user mode to implement,i think only can be do it through the
device driver,something like the devicelock,but i do not know what can i
do?
can someone help me?

Even though the fat file system does not support security for individual files the device object for the file system can have security defined on it. Setting appropriate ACLs on the file system device object should let you accomplish what you are trying to do.
