Hi again,
Are there any ways to affect the creation of associated SFN for LFN
on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000?
Say, when creating a LongFileName.txt file, the FS will automatically
create an associated SFN for it, LONGFI~1.TXT. Is it possible to force
the FS to create LONGFI~2.TXT instead of LONGFI~1.TXT.
I would be very much appreciated for any suggestions.
Regards,
Leonid.
Leonid,
This functionality is not present in NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 and there is no
way to achieve this.
