Hi!
I want to know something about log file of NTFS file system. As it is known that NTFS does log file operations like create or delete file or dirs, how does NTFS driver do this?
Does someone know about this?
Are you looking for detailed information or a more general sense of how journaled file systems work? If you want something specific, find a copy of “Inside NTFS” by Helen Custer. While out of print, the book contains information about NTFS.
If you are looking for general information, I’d suggest doing a literature search, since there have been a number of journaling file systems (e.g., Cedar, AIX JFS, DCE/LFS, EXT3, etc.)
