how can i display a string on the screen

i want show some message when w2k boots . i use ZwDisplayString(PUNICODE_STRING) in the DriverEntry. it doesn’t work. there is nothing on the screen. i load my driver after softice.

Is there any way to do that?

Yes ,my driver is set as a boot-start driver.
anything wrong with that ?
i set it as a system-start driver, but the result is the same.

are you sure having SeTcpPrivilieges?? and futhermore zwdisplaystring shows
the string only if the hal owns the display. so if the display dirver is
loaded before
yours it dosent shows the sring.
