How can i debug a serial port driver

Hi,

How can i debug my serial port driver(accompanies with the windows 2000 DDK ), just disabling the windows file protection and loading my driver is enough for debugging the serial port driver.

Is it possible to debug the serial driver with Softice…,

Yes you just replace the serial.sys driver if you are attached to Windbg and have disabled WPF. I have done this.
