Help with PNP

I am getting weird actions out of a new driver of mine, and am hoping
someone has seen this before:

  1. If I try to disable the driver, I get IRP_MN_QUERY_REMOVE and
    IRP_MN_REMOVE. I then need to uninstall the driver before
    I can get the device operational again.

  2. If I try the pnpdtest, I get the same action and a report of
    “Device reported false information”. Any idea what would be
    false here?

  3. If I try the old disabler test, the disable mode goes into removing
    and installing the driver like above, even though on any other
    driver I see the IRP…STOP requests

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
