HCT 12.1 and WinDbg

How can I run WinDbg with HCT 12.1? I’m chasing down a problem and the
debugger running but the HCT tests fail on the 1394 connection because
WinDbg has it. “Error: DevNode”

Disable the 1394 controller on the target. Windbg doesn’t care if the
device is turned on in device manager.

I tried that, however, HCT 12.1 still complains about a devnode problem.

Yes, but at least it runs the test.

The problem I ran into is that I’d start a test run, then decide in the
middle that I wanted to hook up Windbg. HCT would detect that the 1394
controller state had changed, and refuse to continue the test. If you
disable before you start, that doesn’t happen.

Ok, thanks, I’ll give that a try.
