Getting PCI Config Information

Guys,

A few days ago someone posted a pointer to a Microsoft site that has
information on the kosher way of reading PCI config registers. Could you
maybe repost that link ? I want to teach my students how to do it, and
they’ll welcome the link! Thanks…

By the way, the Advanced OS course at college is going full speed. I gave
them simple templates for a Windows NT driver and for a Linux driver, and
their first homework is to write a kernel module that sends PCI config
information back to the app. Some are doing it on Windows, some on Linux.
Whatever materials I make available are online, if you want you can reach
for them at http://www.rivier.edu/faculty/amoreira/web/cs690b02, go to the
“Resources” section and have fun ! Any suggestions or flames, they’ll be
welcome, just send them back to me.

Alberto.
