IoGetBootDiskInformation

BTW - does it work on Dynamic Disks?
NT4 allowed the boot disk to be an FtDisk’s mirror set (but not other kinds
of FtDisk volumes).
I think w2k also allows the boot disk to be a Dynamic Disk - at least of
some kind.

you could boot Window2000 from a dyanmic disk provided the partition is
“Hard” partition(partition should have an entry in the partition table).Yes
