I am trying to get a mac address of Physical ethernet card from my kernel mode driver.???

Any suggestions

Open the NIC interface and try querying for OID_802_3_CURRENT_ADDRESS.

To Get a mac address of a Physical card from a kernel mode driver. Is the only choice to create an Irp and use undocumented IOCTL_NDIS_QUERY_GLOBAL_STATS.

Nope,
There are ways. like WMI interface. so just look in to that. and second way
is to use IPhelper library.\
