>Further to my email of 08/18/2000, hereinafter was my test result ;
Having the file “Andysnag1.zip” unziped, I installed the program on Window
ME. After starting up my dialpad which was connected to Com.1, bringing
up the notepad (untitled notepad), evoking the program, and selecting the
baudrate (19,200), I selected the radio button of port 'Com 1". An error
message pop-uped.Error accessing specified device (Error : 5)
I continued to highlight the untitled notepad on its pop-up window and
then clicked ‘go’. The untitled notepad was brought up to the
foreground. I moved the cursor on the notepad but key input from the
aforesaid dialpad still could not display.I started up Term95 and found that key input could display correctly on
its screen. The RS232 Settings on Term95 is as follows ;Port Com 1
Baudrate 19,200
Databit 8 bits
Parity None
Stopbits 1 bit
Flowcontrol None selected.Remark : The dialpad only has numbers without character.
Kindly advise what mistake I have committed. Thanks in advance.
