FilterConnectCommunicationPort not able to connect on vista

Hi

I am trying to connect to minifilter driver from user mode application. But FilterConnectCommunicationPort is failing by returing error code access denied… on vista machine.
can any one tell how to connect to filter driver from user mode applicaton on vista machine …

I assume you copied your driver from a WDK sample. Search for this comment:

// We secure the port so only ADMINs & SYSTEM can acecss it.

Then you know why this happens.
