Hi

What 's the guidelines to choose between File System Filter Drivers and File
System Minifilter Drivers?

IMHO, if you had a very long discussion on this topic with the folks in this forum, they would all agree, for various and sundry reasons, that minifilters are the only way to go.

However, the key guideline for me is backward compatibility. As long as you are certain your filter will only be run on Win2K SP4 plus this patch (Filter Manager exists in Windows 2000 SP4 with
this additional patch installed: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/905590/) then you should be golden.
