Filter Manager - XP SP2 v. 2096

Is there a version of Filter Manager beta that installs on XP SP2 RC1? I
have tried the various flavors of the FM downloads and all pop up this
message:

“The version of Windows you have installed does not match the update you are
trying to install.”

XP SP2 RC1 already contains filter manager in it. You do not have to install
it explicitly.

IIRC, it is a free build - not as useful for development as the checked
build.

If this is just for development purposes this is what I would recommend:

  1. Extract the filter manager binaries from the package. Run the package
    with the -z switch. This will extract all the binaries including the symbols
    into a specified folder.
  2. Boot your target machine into safe mode and replace the filter manager
    binary with the checked version from the installer package.

Sorry for the inconvinence. Unfortunately the filter manager installer
package lacks the capability to replace your existing XP SP2 RC1 binaries.
