Failure prompt from 2K3 due to Boot start driver

Hi All,

I am using a boot start driver to do some functionality in it’s DriverEntry() routine. After doing that I don’t require the driver so to stop it from getting loaded I return STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL.

But, it result in a message box from windows 2003 Std. Edition stating that one of the strvice failed.

I dont want that message box, so what can I do?

Thanks & Regards,
Amit.

Hello,

I think setting ErrorControl to 0 will disable the warning message:
http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/aa7ee6a5-7086-4337-b5d0-6d390ad5c5351033.mspx

Thanks a lot…
